This 1/2 day workshop introduces you to the basics of how to organize information and time management. You will learn how to assimilate and make the best use of the stream of daily information flow. You will also learn how to process, retain, prioritize, and preserve messages and data that are vital for productivity and effectiveness. The course is filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success. Course activities show you how to improve your reading speed. You will discuss the distinct stages of memory - and how to improve yours. Upon receiving information you will learn when to Toss It - File It - or Act Upon It.

Customer Service: How to Provide Quality Service
There's more to customer service than polite words like "Please and Thank you." You have to mean it. You have to truly want to serve customers. That doesn't mean give in to every demand. It means putting on your "Can Do" hat and working with customers to resolve their issues and earn their business. This 1 day program is designed to equip you with the insight, skills and direction you need to provide your customers with Quality Service. No matter your role, customer service is an important part of your job. In this hi-tech era we often find ourselves serving customers by way of telephone, email, or electronic media. Whether you use one of these methods, or you see your customers face-to-face, it's the type of service you provide that determines how many of your customers remain loyal.

Train the Trainer: Becoming a Terrific Trainer
This course is a highly interactive workshop filled with proven techniques and methods to ensure your success in teaching others. Whether you are a trainer by choice or by necessity, you will learn dozens of practical tactics to create a classroom environment that encourages learning while still allowing you to maintain control of the training session. There will be an individual "mock" mini-training session (15-25 minutes in length) where you will have the opportunity to both give and receive feedback on how well the techniques are implemented during a videotaped session.

Introduction to Keyboarding
Good typing and keyboarding skills are essential in today's workplace. Those who know how to touch type with ten fingers without looking down at the keyboard are usually more focused, more efficient, and more productive. The KAZ Method, developed in the UK by Gotham New Media, is designed to help learners master touch typing. Through a combination of word association and your own natural dexterity, you will learn how to type using all ten fingers and how to make firm keystrokes without looking at the keyboard or growing fatigued.

CompTIA Project+ Certification
Responsible for managing projects at your business? This course covers the full range of skills and concepts students need to know to plan and implement projects. The project initiation and planning process is covered in-depth, culminating in the creation of a project schedule. Learning how to manage business concerns such as cost and risk is balanced by thorough exposure to best practices in managing people and resources.
