Five days of intense training for a low, all-inclusive price which includes all courseware and over 50 labs that are available 24x7!

Because VMware vSphere 4.0 Ultimate Bootcamp is not a VMware Authorized Course, we are able to offer instruction on a wide variety of third party tools and best practices learned in the field that are not found in Authorized courses and "limited manufacturer" type of training that solely focuses on OEM software.

Learn more about the VMWare Ultimate Bootcamp here!

We offer a 5 day VMware V4.0 Ultimate BootCamp®.  This 5 day bootcamp includes material which is also taught in 4 of VMware’s most popular classes:

  • VMware Infrastructure 4.0: Install and Configure
  • VMware Infrastructure 4.0: What's New
  • VMware P2V Assistant: Server Migration (Updated to VMware Converter)
  • VMware Infrastructure 4.0: Deploy, Secure and Analyze

Why take our class?

There are many choices for VMware classes out there, so why take the Ultimate BootCamp from VTEC? For several reasons, however, we feel the biggest reason is the quality.

Quality:
VTEC will give you a high quality class with qualified instructors who understand VMware inside and out. Most of the grey market instructors are not even certified in the product. All of our instructors are VCP®, CVETM or dual certified.

Time:
VMware provides all of the VMware courses above compressed into a 5 day bootcamp. It would take a total of 12 days to take these classes from VMware. Our course provides you with FOUR TIMES the material of a standard 4 day course from another training company.

Additional Value for Students:

  • Certified Virtualization Expert (CVETM) available with this bootcamp
  • In our bootcamp, students will be exposed to independent, third party solutions, which are not taught in other VMware classes.
  • We can also give you real world examples from actual server consolidations completed by real world consultants.

Server Hardware:

  • Students are each provided their own server during the bootcamp. Most other VMware classes have at least two students sharing a single server.
  • Server hardware is state-of-the-art and is on the VMware supported hardware list.
  • Students will not be using simulators or desktop PC’s that do not have enough power to run a successful class.

Labs:

  • Labs are specifically designed to work in synergy with the courseware.
  • All labs are written with step by step instructions.
  • Labs are optimized so our students get a full understanding of how the product works.
  • Labs are preformed on all of the major topics and we cover lab topics that are not fully covered in other VMware course.
  • Our classes consist of over 65% of hands on labs performed on real servers.
  • Examples of labs covered:
    • High Availability (HA)
    • Vmotion
    • VMware Consolidated Backup (VCB)
    • Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS)
    • Installation, Patching, Networks, Storage
    • and much more.

VMWare Hacking Uncovered - CVSE1021 Bootcamp
Prepare to Defend Yourself! A critical and often overlooked aspect of migrating to a virtualized environment is security and setting up security properly. Virtualization technologies are not secure "out of the box" and VMware is no exception. The VMware Hacking Uncovered (VMHU) course focuses on where the vulnerabilities lie and how to reduce the attack surfaces in a virtualized environment.

VMHU goes beyond the typical security protocols administrators use to secure their current environments and dives much deeper into the actual workings and shortcomings of the VMware environment.

Detect potential threats, how to defend and defeat them, and how to establish a solid foundation to build secure virtual data centers from the ground up.

Prevent theft of confidential records, proprietary files, or sensitive information and ensure compliance with HIPPA, SOX, or STIG standards and regulations.
