Access 2010 Introduction is a hands-on, instructor-led course designed for individuals who will be creating and maintaining Access 2010 databases. The course introduces fundamental database terminology and concepts and helps prepare students to create databases for their use. During the class, students will design and build a simple multi-table relational database creating tables, fields, and table relationships. The course also introduces other database objects including creating select queries, forms, and reports.
The course is the first in the series of Access 2010 courses and helps build the foundation for the more advanced courses including Access 2010 Intermediate and Access 2010 Advanced.
Students enrolled in this course should be comfortable working in the Windows environment and adept at performing common tasks such as opening and closing programs and files, navigating between running programs, as well as using the mouse and keyboard. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, is helpful.
